Dumplings. Preparation time: approx. 25 minutes.
Be sure to add the water for the dumplings at the beginning of the entire preparation so that the dumplings are in the water before the goose is in the oven. The potato dumplings are placed in briskly boiling, salted water (at least 500 ml per dumpling) and then boil for at least 10 minutes before reducing the heat to allow the dumplings to cook. The dumplings are ready after 25 minutes, but can also be left in the water for 10-15 minutes longer.
Side dishes. Preparation time: approx. 25 minutes.
You can heat the red cabbage, kale, and sauce in a non-stick saucepan or in a microwave oven using suitable dishes. This will take approximately 25 minutes. It's also possible to heat the side dishes in the supplied packaging in a water bath. However, this will take a little longer (approx. 35 minutes). When heating in a pot or microwave, the side dishes should be stirred regularly to prevent sticking.
Roast goose Preparation time: 35 min.
Place the whole goose breast-side up (brown side up) or the quartered goose pieces skin-side up on a baking tray and add a tablespoon of water (approx. 10 ml) to the baking tray. Place the tray on the bottom rack of a preheated oven (160°C with fan/convection oven) and heat the goose for ten minutes. Then increase the temperature to 230°C and let the goose crisp for another 25 minutes. Check at the end to see if the goose is already crispy. If necessary, you can extend the cooking time by a few minutes, especially if you are heating more than ONE goose and have several baking trays in the oven. The feast is now ready to serve.

For our popular roast goose, we use Polish oat-fed geese with a fresh weight of 5000g from fattening farms that exclusively raise geese in flocks with an outdoor area of ​​1 hectare for 250 geese each. Our "small-scale geese" also come from Polish fattening farms, where even greater consideration is given to feed and husbandry. Our best geese come from the Oldenburg region from the renowned poultry farms "M. Claßen" and "Geflügelhof Nobis"

  • Pick-up from the restaurant is generally also possible on short notice. We roast geese constantly, so fresh geese are always available. Only during the holidays are we unable to operate on short notice.
  • For courier delivery, we require a lead time of 48 hours.

  • The roast goose menu is freshly prepared for you, then immediately chilled to refrigerator temperature and carefully packaged. This ensures the best flavor and shelf life.

    How long does the roast goose menu keep?

    The roast goose menu is guaranteed to keep for 5 days in the refrigerator at 5° Celsius.

    Simply order your roast goose with all the desired side dishes here in our shop. Your order will be conveniently delivered via express delivery in specially insulated refrigerated packaging. Delivery is only available on Thursdays or Fridays. Christmas orders cannot be sent via parcel service, as logistics companies cannot guarantee deliveries this week.     Courier delivery costs: Courier delivery is available throughout the city of Berlin and Potsdam and the surrounding area on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. or between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

    You can order either a WHOLE geese, a quartered geese, or a half goose. If you order two half geese, you've essentially ordered a whole goose for four people as a carved goose.

    In a normal household oven, either 2 whole geese fit next to each other on a baking tray or 10 quartered goose parts fit on 2 trays on top of each other.
    Please allow for a slightly longer preparation time for 6 or more people, as the oven needs longer to reach the right temperature.
